Chasing Birds
Lately Kylie has been relentless in her quest to catch a bird , it doesn't matter what kind just any bird will do. No matter hour many times you explain to her that they are wild birds and you cannot catch them...she is determined. Here are some pictures of her trying to catch a bird at the park.

Playing outside
Getting her branch, trying to be Tarzan...
Got it, attempted to jump. It didn't quite turn out as expected. But no broken bones so I guess we should be thankful for that... Checking to see if the frogs have arrived yet...for your information they have not arrived, yet.
Standing on her own personal stage singing. Hopefully I'll be able to post the video of that soon.
Miss Lacey showing off her ablity to sit up all by herself and look cute at the same time. Check out the flower behind her ear that Kylie picked for her!
Playing with the grass
Mommy and Lacey. She's trying to grab the camera the whole time I'm trying to take the picture. : )

Lacey's 6 Month Doctors Appointment
Today was Lacey's 6 month doctors appointment. Everything went great, she weighed 17 pounds 13 ounces and 26 inches long. She was in the 75th percentile for her weight and 50-75th percentile for her length. She has met all of her developmental milestones, overall her doctor was very pleased. Her next appointment will be at 9 months old.
She has gained exactly 3 pounds 1 ounces and grown 1.25 inches since her last appointment. She received 3 shots and an oral vaccine. She did great she cried only when the injections were given and as soon as I picked her up she was smiling at her nurse!

Lacey's 6 Month Old
Some of her milestones this month include:
- Sitting up all by herself as seen in the picture above
- Rolling over back to belly and pushing with her feet which
usually results in face planting herself into the carpet - she can say DA-DA!
She is loving all of the new foods she has been trying this month, they include: squash, green beans, peas, carrots, bananas, applesause, and pears. She likes all of them except for the peas which she tollerates but isn't too excited about them.
Below are pictures of her and Daddy 'flying'. Daddy is giving flying lessons early...

All School Picnic
Today Kylie's preschool had their annual All-School (except the nursery) Picnic. The kids (and parents) have lots of fun playing and eating. It's hot dogs, chips, fruit and a dessert for lunch and then playtime again! They were exhausted by the end of the picnic, which lasted approximatley 3 hours, the kids played so hard. Here are some pictures of Kylie's day at the park:

Kylie's Preschool Graduation
Kylie had her preschool Graduation tonight. It seems so unreal that she will be in Kindergarten in the fall. IT was a nice Graduation and she was very proud of herself. They said the Pledge of Allegiance and 4 or 5 songs, they were so cute. I will post some of them in a separate post - the files are large. She was so excited when she found out that she got to keep her tassel. We are so proud to be her parents!
We love you Kylie. You are a smart and beautiful little girl, Daddy and Mommy love you more than you could ever imagine. You have no limits, Daddy and Mommy are her to support you in whatever you do!
Congratulations Kylie!!!!
