Katie had a lot of fun on her birthday, the cake was a hit with her as were her presents.  I still can't believe this little girl is 2 already...

Our baby girl is 2 already!

She is as spunky as they get.  This little girl is NOT going to be a push over at all.  Katie is will to stand her ground no matter what!

She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES her breakfast.  She does NOT miss breakfast.   Usually her breafast is 3 pancakes that are almost the size of a dessert plate! I have no idea where she puts it all because she is actually the thinnest of the 3 girls.  Every now and then she will mix it up and have cereal and whatever else looks good that the other girls are having.

I am convinced she doesn't realize she is smaller than Kylie and Lacey.  She tries her darndest to do everything they do, from dancing to singing to gymnastics...you name it she's willing to try it. 

Most definately the 2 year old 'I can do it' phase has kicked in with a vengance!  She gets SO upset when there is something she is SURE she can do and then it ends up that she needs help.

Went to the doctor for her well child visit.   The doctor said she was doing great!  She weighs 27.6 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches tall. 

She is a fun little girl that is definately going to keep us on our toes!

Purple Belt!

Another belt testing night has arrived for Kylie.

It's so hard to believe that she has already been taking martial arts classes for a year already!  She has come so far, we are so proud of her!

That board is not easy to break, but she didn't let that or the fact that her hand was a little sore deter her from getting what she wanted.

Whoo Hoo and exciting new purple belt.  She worked HARD for this belt.  Future belts will not be easy to attain but I have confidence in her that she will have the determination and the desire to work hard for them.

Breakfast with Santa!

We had breakfast with Santa this morning!

The girls had a choice of eggs (which Kylie LOVED), hashbrowns, toast, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice!

 



Santas helpers really know how make a GREAT breakfast.

Kylie was the first one done with her breakfast and the first one to visit with Santa

She even scored her own  picture with Santa before her sister made their way to Santa!

Lacey braved her way up to him and told Santa exactly what she wanted.

Soon all 3 girls were up visiting with Santa.  Katie was a little unsure about him, but she is the first one the girls to NOT be scared of him at her young age!

Decorating the Christmas Tree!

We started decorating our tree much earlier this year than in years past

we started bright and early in the morning, notice the bedhead?

even with beadhead they are cute!

big sister get to put the more fragile ornaments on...she's the only one that remembered the back (or window side) the tree!

and Miss Katie decided to the stop and take a breather, after all decorating a tree is hard work!

We actually started on Thanksgiving and took our time and then Mommy FORGOT to take a picture of the finished product :(

The kids did a great job and had fun with it, of course that's the most important part!

Lacey's Happy Birthday Video

Lacey's 4!

It's hard to believe this little girl is 4 already!

In many ways I forget that she isn't a little baby anymore.

She has a super funny personality.

She is probably the most laid back of the 3 girls...and really, she isn't all that laid back!  She is much more willing to accept things, and absolutley LOVES to hang out with Kylie.

She insisted on a Tinkerbell birthday party.  It was her first 'friend' party.  She loved it!  Of course, since we had her friend party almost a week before her actual birthday that meant we celebrated for almost a week!

She had her friend birthday party on Saturday, brought cupcakes to Sunday school on Sunday, then on her actual birthday (a Wednesday) she brought cake to school!  Of course that night we had company come over for more cake and Pizza!  Number 4 will go down as a great birthday party year to be sure!

I'm super excited to be able to catch a picture of all 3 of them looking in the same direction and HAPPY!  This was taken the morning of Lacey's birthday.  She was so excited to wear her 'I am 4' shirt!

Doin' a little horse Ridin'

The girls have been doing great with their riding lessons!

Kylie has graduated to being able to control her horse all by herself! No more being led around.

She is a very serious rider.

This particular day was great because it was SO nice out and they got to ride OUTSIDE!

Lacey is becoming quite the little cowgirl

She's VERY proud to be able to have her horse riding time.

Katie LOVES to watch the girls...wishing she could be riding too.

Pumpkin Patch

The girls couldn't believe it when we got to the pumpkin patch and their horse riding instructor, Angela, was there with Bear!

I love this picture of Lacey and Bear, what a PERFECT fall picture.

At the pumpkin patch they had lots of things to climb on, including some older farm equipment.  The kids thought it was great!

Katie loved climbing on the straw bales.

Another great fall picture, Kylie and Bear.  Kylie would have walked Bear around the farm all day if given the opportunity.  She walked him around like he was a dog!  He loved it too...mmmmm fresh grass!
