Happy 2nd Birthday Katie!

Our baby girl is 2 already!

She is as spunky as they get.  This little girl is NOT going to be a push over at all.  Katie is will to stand her ground no matter what!

She LOVE, LOVE, LOVES her breakfast.  She does NOT miss breakfast.   Usually her breafast is 3 pancakes that are almost the size of a dessert plate! I have no idea where she puts it all because she is actually the thinnest of the 3 girls.  Every now and then she will mix it up and have cereal and whatever else looks good that the other girls are having.

I am convinced she doesn't realize she is smaller than Kylie and Lacey.  She tries her darndest to do everything they do, from dancing to singing to gymnastics...you name it she's willing to try it. 

Most definately the 2 year old 'I can do it' phase has kicked in with a vengance!  She gets SO upset when there is something she is SURE she can do and then it ends up that she needs help.

Went to the doctor for her well child visit.   The doctor said she was doing great!  She weighs 27.6 pounds and is 33 1/2 inches tall. 

She is a fun little girl that is definately going to keep us on our toes!

Kylie's riding lessons

Kylie is having so much fun taking her riding lessons.  She starts looking for wad to the next lesson almost as soon as her current lesson is over!

She's come such a long way in just 4 lessons (this is the 4th).  I'm so proud of her!

Shaking it up!

Kylie danced at the football game as a Jr. POM dancer. She had so much fun. She absolutley LOVED it! It's a little hard to see her but she starts in the middle...then moves to the right side of the screen, the first dancer inside of the second row of green shirts. It's so much fun to watch her. I forsee LOTS more dancing in her future :-)

Katie's First Year in pictures

This video is waaay late, my baby girl just turned 18 months old yesterday!  Time flies for sure.  I still wanted to make this video for her.  I try to do one for each of the girls on their birthdays. I think it will be fun for both us and them to look back at these videos!

Playing at the park

Today I took the little gies to the park while Kylie went to a pbirday party.  Lacey was a little 'miffed' that she didn't get invited to go but all was well when we got to the part and started playing!

Lacey absolutley LOVES to twist on the swings.  I think we did this at least 4 or 5 times that day! :)

Katie saw Lacey twisting and it looked like she wanted to try it, I'm not sure she liked it.  But the best part was listening to Lacey giggle while Katie was untwisting.

I was amazed at how well Katie did staying on the toys!  She kept herself on it for quite a while.  They had a great time, I think we were there at least an hour or so.  Both took wonderfully long naps after we got home. :)

Happy 3rd Birthday To Lacey!

Our loveable, laughable, lively little Lacey turns 3 today!!!

She is such a smart, sweet, yet sassy, spunky, and silly little girl.  We wouldn't want her any other way.

Dear Lacey,

Mommy and Daddy love you so much.  We love the fact that your eyes are always sparkling.  It is you that keeps us on our toes at all times.  Not just because we wonder what you could be getting into but also because we wonder what you are going to think to say next!  You have such a way with your words even at only 3.  Lots of people have a hard time beliving you are just turning 3!

At 3 years old you can spell and recognize your name in print.  You are obsesessed with Dora and the Disney Princesses.  You Love the letter 'L'.  Your favorite colors are pink and purple.  You can count to 16 and know pretty much all of your colors.  Your teachers at daycare tell me you are almost the first one to shout out the letter when they print them on the board.

We are so proud of you Lacey.  Mommy and Daddy cannot wait to see what your future holds, one thing we know is it will be bright!  We will always be there to support you no matter what.

Flash Mob!

Kylie danced in her first 'Flash Mob' dance today.  She had a ball!  The high school cheer leaders held a 3 day cheer clinic to teach all of the girls Kindergarten thru Eigth Grade (that wanted to participate) a dance to perform in the parade that was held on Saturday.  Everyday she came home and had to show me more of the dance she learned.  She is already waiting for the next cheer clinic so she can learn a new dance.

The danced to 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'.  I'm always amazed at what these little ones can learn in such a short amount of time...6 hours to be exact...over a  3 day time span.

Mission Accomplished!

Kylie and I had a fun day taking pictures.  She loved it, I kept telling her the whole time that I was sure that she had modeled for pictures before.  She thought that was so funny, and kept telling me over and over that this was the first time.  She loved the fact that it was also Mommy and me time...her favorite thing.  Doesn't matter what we are doing, ifs its just the two of us she is happy.

I was hoping to get some good pictures of her, hoping that I could NOT have to take her in to a photographer to have them taken.  I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and started looking at them, I feel like its MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Butterfly Butt

Lacey was found a moth in our family room.  She was totally intrigued by it, she watched that moth for at least 10 minutes.  Then, when he moved, she was SO excited!

Look who's crawling!

It isn't the most graceful she just started crawling 2 days ago and she's already trying to pull herself up on different objects.  She was up on her knees near a box yesterday.  We are in trouble!
