Katie's first bath
Katie does not appreciate her bath's at all. These are pictures from her first bath today:
Her eye is red because she has a clogged tear duct.
This is what she thought of the bath!
Hopefully as she gets older she will start to enjoy them much more.

Lacey meets baby Katie for the first time
Lacey was so excited to meet Miss Katie!
"I wuve you baby Katie"
Lovin' on Katie :)
Adoring Katie
Holding Katie for the first time.
Lacey came to visit us on Katie's going home day. She came in and was so excited to meet her. She had to wait for a bit since Katie was down in the nursery getting her pictures taken. But when they wheeled Katie in she could hardly contain herself, it was so cute!

Will today be the big day?
Went to the Doctor today. I am dilated to 3, and 80% effaced. Will our third daughter make her appearance today? Time will tell...
Doctor said baby will most likely be this week. Doctor M. told me that he is going to request the nurse to schedule an induction for next Tuesday. So at the very latest Baby #3 will be here not later than Tuesday, January 25th.
I know that I am ready for baby to be born. I enjoy being pregnant however, I am uncomfortable. And more importantly I can't wait to meet our newest daughter. :)

Some Snow Fun!
In our area we have gotten over 2 feet of snow in the past two day and more is expected! Needless to say there was plenty of snow for the girls to go outside and play in. Mommy was even out for a while too!
Poor Lacey's hat kept falling over her eyes. I think it bothered me more than her!
Of course both of the girls had to taste the snow...judging by the fact that they both kept eating it I'm pretty sure they approved of the taste! I don't think I know of a kid that doesn't like to eat snow.
Lacey had the hardest time out in the snow, there was too much for her to walk anywhere out back except for the back porch.
The snow
Two days ago we had NO snow on the ground. And now we have this:
The path Kylie made so Lacey could go all the way to the back of the backyard with her:
The front yard when it was blowing so hard, you could barely see the neighbors house across the street.

Sledding!
Brandon was kind enough to bring his sleds and snowboard over to Nana and Papa's house Christmas Day. Both Brandon and Kylie had so much fun, as did Charissa and I. Both of us spent our time laughing most of the time we were out watching them.

Christmas Eve
We celebrated Christmas this year at Nana and Papa's house. We were especially blessed this year because Nana was released from the hospital just in time for Christmas. We opened presents on Christmas Eve. The day was especially long for Kylie since she knew we were going to open them that day, just didn't know the time. The anticipation was almost more than she could handle. Lacey on the other hand didn't have any idea what to expect but let me tell you once she started opening presents she was a present opening machine! Of course she had no concept of the fact that everyone has their own presents. She tried to open everyone's present, it was cute!
Lacey was so excited with each present she opened. She is really into Mickey and Minnie Mouse so of course anything with either of the two of them she got really excited about. Uncle Chris and Auntie Charissa got her a large Minnie Mouse which she loved. When she opened it she exclaimed, "Minnie Mouse!" and gave her a big kiss, it was very cute. Papa said it was the highlight of his Christmas!
One of the gift on Kylie's wish list was American Girl dolls. She received two Our Generation (which she believes to be American Girl) dolls. She is thrilled with the dolls. In addition to the dolls she received two extra outfits for them.
The girls were so much fun to watch this year. The joy they bring is amazing, and I am just thrilled to watch them get so excited for each thing they opened. I must say their Aunts and Uncles really spoiled them, it seemed like toy overload for a bit! :)
I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas, I know we did. :)

Christmas in our home
I love to decorate for Christmas. It is such a festive time of year. This is my favorite corner of the house during Christmas season.
The angels on the right of the picture were my late Grandma's. I so thankful that I have them, they mean so much to me. The Nativity was given to me by my mother-in-law I think it looks perfect among the angels. And the Christmas stockings with Kylie and Lacey's name on them were made by Greg's Aunt Janet. The girls love them...and so do I. :)

First Grade Christmas Party
Some pictures from Kylie's Christmas program. She had so much fun at the party! It was fun to watch the kids have fun and enjoy themselves.
I loved the reindeer headband and rudolph nose!
Each of the kids got to open presents from Santa that were for the classroom. They had so much fun opening the presents.
Of course the main event was getting to see Santa and tell him what they wanted!

Kylie's Christmas Program
This year Kylie's Christmas program was held in our church. It was a beautiful program all the kids did an excellent job!
The Kindergarten and First Graders were angels, they all looked so cute.
The songs the children sang were wonderful, it was a very well put together program.
The kids were very serious about their parts of the program. It was beautiful to watch.
